After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland I was granted a diploma in medicine in 2004. In 2006 I started my residency in ophthalmology and ocular surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology and Ocular Oncology of the University Hospital in Krakow, Poland. During the residency programme I was granted with an internship in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University Hospital in Geneva, Switzerland.
In 2012, after passing the exams in Warsaw, Krakow and Paris I received a medical degree in Ophthalmology and a European Board of Ophthalmology Diploma. In 2013 I received Ph. D. title from the Medical Faculty of the Jagiellonian University in the field of ocular oncology.
In 2012-2014, I worked as an assistant eye surgeon in the departement of ocular surgery in Gryfice Hospital, Poland.

I am a member of the FMH (Federacion Médecins Helvetiques), the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and a member of the Society of Ophthalmologists in Geneva.
